As a Jubilee Leader
● current member of the leadership team
● spiritual director
● outdoor education and retreat facilitator
● circle holder
I am a wanderer at heart. As a child of the prairies, I was free to roam, seeking adventure and connection in the vast prairie landscape. From climbing ancient cottonwood trees to dozing atop of straw stacks, these were moments where I felt most attuned to something greater than myself.
For over 25 years, I served as a pastor within the Mennonite Church, accompanying individuals on their spiritual journeys. It was during this time I was introduced to spiritual direction and fell in love. In 2016, I completed the Jubilee spiritual direction program which prepared me to facilitate a three year spiritual discernment process with my congregation at the time. For fun, I’ve led women's spiritual retreats and guided contemplative canoe trips.
I have recently launched Wildscape Soul ; a creative venture offering nature-based spiritual direction and discernment for individuals and groups. I continue to partner with Five Oaks Centre designing and facilitating retreats that focus on rest and renewal; truth and reconciliation, and sharing circles. My continuous learning includes conflict management, Circle process, enneagram and racial healing.
I love being a mother to three free-range young adult daughters.
As a Spiritual Companion
As a spiritual companion, I honor and respect each unique journey, embracing all identities, faith traditions, and spiritual paths. I seek to create a space for deep listening where individuals are seen, valued, supported, and empowered to navigate the spiritual path with authenticity, curiosity and awe.
Drawing inspiration from nature and contemplative practices, spiritual direction is a journey of connection and discovery. Through practices like eco-therapy, silence, and guided meditation, everyday experiences become inherently sacred experiences; deepening our connection to the divine and uncovering the interconnectedness of all things.
I find joy in uncovering the wild beauty and meaning woven into the fabric of life, finding solace and purpose in every step.
I am available in person on my little farm and at Five Oaks Centre, near Paris, Ontario; as well as by phone or online. I am open to walk & talks; personal overnight retreats with spiritual accompaniment can be booked through Five Oaks.
