As a Practitioner:
Regina Sheere is a recognized Therapeutic Touch practitioner (retired) and is a member in good standing with the Therapeutic Touch Network of Ontario (TTNO). She has also achieved her second degree Reiki certification. She has finished her course in the Ontario Jubilee Program and has received her certificate of completion. Spiritual Direction is an important component of her practice.
In 2004 Regina integrated her extensive knowledge base in healing practices, self healing and complimentary medicines founded on her Therapeutic Touch and Reiki education and experience. She expanded this through her participation in dream analysis with VJ Houseman, guided silent retreats at Five Oaks Retreat Centre, and by working with Therapeutic Touch mentors Barbara Janelle, Jitka Malec, and Carol Wray. As a result, Regina co-created a one-day retreat for women: “Dance Your Sacred Rhythm, Surrender to Self”. The success of the retreat led to the launch of SheereSource in 2005. Her workshop on Dance was presented at a retreat for Therapeutic Touch at Five Oaks in June of 2008 and at the Therapeutic Touch Conference in November 2008 in Toronto. SheereSource has a simple mission: to promote healing through Therapeutic Touch Reiki, Art, Books, and Spiritual Direction.
Regina’s life experience has been challenging, rewarding, and diverse. She has lived and worked in Germany and across Canada. Her interests include horses, dogs, and cats - grounded in the studies of Life Science Research at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology (which included biology, chemistry mathematics, and microbiology); this interest was later expanded by studying TherapeuticTouch for animals. Literary pursuits include writing poetry and short stories, while spiritual growth and development is chronicled through journaling and having attended many Spiritual Workshops throughout her later years. Past studies of interest include dance, acting and German Literature at the University of Toronto and Western University in London Ontario.
Regina managed accounts and budget planning at Quad County Support Services. Prior to her relocation to Ontario, Regina held senior positions at Prodeco Oil & Gas Co. Ltd in Calgary AB, as Accounts Payable/Receivable Supervisor and Bow Valley Industries as Revenue/Project Accountant. She is retired from all full time positions.
Regina is a native of Germany, a Canadian Citizen, and is a former resident of Hamburg, Calgary, and Toronto. She currently lives near London, Ontario with her husband and has one daughter and son-in-law and one wonderful granddaughter.
