Come and find the quiet centre...

                                                       ~ Shirley Erena Murray

My intention is to create sacred space. A place to pause and reflect. And to listen. Deeply listen to the Deeper Self. What is Divine Mystery up to, I wonder.

Dreams, in particular, capture my curiosity. I love learning the language of the soul. It means paying attention to symbols and images, metaphors and puns in both waking and sleeping. And honouring meaningful coincidences known as synchronicities.

Living in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, I provide lay worship leadership to rural United Churches in the southeast part of the province. Officiating at funerals and honouring a person’s life is also part of my sacred work.

Oh, and I play the harp.

I have received a certificate of completion in spiritual direction training through the Ontario Jubilee program. This came after a career in physiotherapy of tending to the physical body – our connection to the outer world. All throughout the spirit has been gently nudging. Come home, it whispers. Connect body with mind with spirit. Just like those dot-to-dot puzzles I loved to do as a child.

My invitation is this: come and find the quiet centre where Mystery dwells. Let’s see what wants to emerge...
