Sandy Pihowich
Sandy Pihowich completed the Pacific Jubilee SoulGuiding Program in 2018. She lives and works from home on the Canadian and US border, which is a daily metaphorical reminder of the function of thresholds in her life. Offering numerous possibilities, thresholds create restrictions, act as launching pads into the unknown, and at times need to be closed down. Paying attention to the liminal space of thresholds is a spiritual practice - as are most things in life.
Sandy was raised in the United Church of Canada and nurtures herself on the wisdom and practices of embodied movement, centering prayer and mystical wisdom from many religious and non-religious sources. One of her first mentors referred to spiritual direction as being “listened into being.” This is Sandy’s hope in the spiritual accompaniment she offers to others.

and the moment we stop soul-making
we are less than what we could be.” – Robert Sardello
