Fernando Esté
Having been born in South America, living on two continents, and being educated in Science & Technology, Social Sciences, and Humanities, has provided me with a broad perspective about Life in the Universe and the human condition. I am essentially an accidental mystic grounded and guided by contemplative practices from various spiritual traditions, including mainline Catholicism, Zen Buddhism, and First Nations. I possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Studies, with studies in Theology and Spirituality. From where I am right now, rooted in and nurtured by Divine Presence as a teacher of perennial wisdom, I can clearly see that my life has been a paradoxical journey, a mix of profound and inexplicably joyful experiences, and a fair share of personal suffering and sorrow. Through Grace, I have become aware and have acquired a deep understanding of the amazing potential for growth and expansion we possess as human beings. Living in the Canadian Pacific West, surrounded by astounding natural beauty, I have further discovered that the combination of having the charisma of spiritual guidance and the deep awareness of the human need for love, healing, and meaning, allows me to accompany others on their life journey. Currently, most of the spiritual companions I am walking with come from a variety of backgrounds and traditions, including LGBTQ+ individuals, clergy, and spiritual seekers, Christian, Buddhist, Agnostic, Atheist and Earth-Centred belief systems. I am continually engaged with the beloved community of people around me, always learning from my favorite contemplatives who are too many to list here.
I graduated from the Pacific Jubilee SoulGuiding Program in 2018.
