Three Evenings Of Deep Listening – Lighting The Darkest Time Of Year: An ONLINE Experience Of Connection

ONLINE with Dale Bially & Cheryl Kinney Matheson

Three Thursday Evenings - December 2, 9 & 16, 2021

“Silence is not empty… it is full of answers!”

We are all aware that our sense of calm is deeply shaken just by living our lives. As we go into the darkness of winter and approach the year’s longest night, we will be affected by the lessening light and people’s reactivity around world events.

One of the greatest gifts that we can give to another person is space, not only to be seen, but also heard. In order to process our reactions and emotions, we need the support of a like-minded people who create spaces for healing silence.

In the timeless tradition of deep listening, we invite you to spend three evenings listening and being listened to, in a deeper way.

We will connect by Zoom for nightly teachings and then break into intimate groups for sharing and reflection intertwined with rich silence.

Participants will require a quiet space in their homes to connect and a candle to light.

This event is offered through the Inscapes Centre for Enneagram Studies and Inspired Enneagram

The cost for this event is what you can afford: $25 or $45 + GST

Dale Bially has worked extensively with the enneagram in his professional and personal life since 1993. Under the guidance of my mentors Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh (students of Bob Ochs), he completed the Enntrain: Inspirited and Embodied Enneagram training program in 2012 and began teaching workshops and study groups with Inscapes Centre for Enneagram Studies. In 2012 he began working with the leadership team of Prairie Jubilee, to train spiritual directors and help other seekers find the truth of whom they are and how to live differently making our world a better place.

Cheryl Kinney Matheson is a graduate of Prairie Jubilee, a member of Spiritual Directors International, and an Ordained Minister within the United Church of Canada.

She has served in congregations in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario for 28 years and lives in Kenora, Ontario. She says that Prairie Jubilee transformed her pastoral ministry. The metaphor of ‘Pilgrimage’ for life’s journey, introduced to Cheryl through Prairie Jubilee, resulted in her Camino walk in 2011.

Cheryl enjoys facilitating small group opportunities for prayer/meditation/reflection and labyrinth walks. Quiet sitting, reading, walking, camping and knitting are activities of enjoyment.
