Mid-Winter Labyrinth Walk – A Candlelit Journey of Deepening

Mid-Winter Labyrinth Walk:
A Candlelit Journey of Deepening

In-Person with Cheryl Kinney Matheson & Dale Bially

Choose from three walks taking place February 7th & 8th

Walking the labyrinth

is a spiritual practice involving body movement.

Walking the labyrinth

is a step by step journey to the centre of the symbol

and to the centre of your being.

Walking the labyrinth

quiets the mind, opens the heart, releases grief, and heals.

Walking the labyrinth organizes chaos and provides

an archetype of wholeness and unity.”

You are invited to walk

a candlelit Eleven Circuit Medieval Labyrinth

sometimes called the Chartres Labyrinth.

Your walk will be hosted by Dale Bially and Cheryl Kinney Matheson.

Cheryl is a certified Veriditas Labyrinth instructor and she will offer

an introductory teaching about the labyrinth prior to beginning the walk.

Following your walk, you will have the opportunity to reflect

by yourself and within a circle of sharing.

If you have not walked a labyrinth, you will be guided.

If you have walked before, every walk is a new experience.

Participants will need to remove your outer footwear so please bring extra socks or slippers to cushion your feet. You might wish to also bring your journal.

I have walked this labyrinth many times and each time been left with an inner calm that I find hard to describe. If you are looking for a different kind of inner exploration, I would recommend trying a walk.

Cheryl Kinney-Matheson

Cheryl Kinney Matheson is a graduate of Prairie Jubilee (Cycle 2), a member of Spiritual Directors International, and an Ordained Minister within the United Church of Canada, now retired.

She has been a Prairie Jubilee Instructor since Cycle 6 and learns from each Cycle and from each participant. Cheryl has served congregations in Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario for 28 years and attests to the way that Prairie Jubilee has transformed her pastoral ministry, enabling her to speak about the inner life and offer the teachings of the enneagram and spiritual practices within her congregation and community.

Dale Bially has worked extensively with the enneagram in his professional and personal life since 1993. Under the guidance of my mentors Carol Ann Gotch and David Walsh (students of Bob Ochs), he completed the Enntrain: Inspirited and Embodied Enneagram training program in 2012 and began teaching workshops and study groups with Inscapes Centre for Enneagram Studies. In 2012 he began working with the leadership team of Prairie Jubilee, to train spiritual directors and help other seekers find the truth of whom they are and how to live differently making our world a better place.
