As a spiritual director, I offer you accompaniment on your spiritual journey rooted in awareness of God/Spirit (or however you best connect with the Divine), deep listening, presence, and compassion. My hope is to offer you a sacred space where transformation, healing, and integration can unfold, and where you can cultivate living as your truest essence.
Spiritually, I am most at home in the contemplative Christian tradition guided by the commitment to both contemplation and action, and the contemplative values of Silence, Solitude, Simplicity and Service. I love the mystics, deeply value the Wisdom offered by other faith traditions, and life lived contemplatively. Spiritual practices that have supported my own awareness of God and transformation include centering prayer and listening prayer.
I have been offering spiritual accompaniment for more than a decade and completed the Pacific Jubilee SoulGuiding Program in 2022. To this practice of accompaniment, I also bring a background in social work, a graduate degree in International Relations, and theological studies. I have spent time in South Africa, Palestine, and Kenya and that has been significant in my spiritual formation. In addition, I facilitate groups and retreats focused on spiritual formation.
My own experience of receiving spiritual direction has been one of transformation, integration, and a deepening in living as my true self. May your own journey be more than you could ask or imagine!
