SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR/ANAMCARA (Soul Companion)

I am a Graduate of the Pacific Jubilee Spiritual Direction program - 1993-1995. Over the years, I have followed up this program with further courses in Conflict Resolution, the Work of Byron Katie, and the Compassionate Inquiry Program through Dr. Gabor Maté (2019). Contemplative Prayer and Centering Prayer have been important to my own personal spiritual journey, and I have also extensive meditation experience.

AnamCara Apprentice (Soul Companion) -Sacred Art of Living Center, 2021-2022, we entered this year with learning about and experiencing other world traditions in their healing practices, rituals and compassionate practices towards those who suffer.
Soul Of Wellness - 2022-2023 (2nd year of Anamcara Apprenticeship) - we explored our own relational experiences of suffering, both in entering into our personal journeys as well as companioning others;  learning how the science of brain neurobiology affects our functioning under stress and trauma, and how to recalibrate our responses towards a healthier approach to circumstances, situations, and relationships. Other practices included leaning into our own pain with the support of skillfully guided practices where we encountered personal insights, growth and transformation with exercises guided by our mentors/instructors. This took place through the entire 3 years I was training with the Sacred Art of Living Center.

PERSONAL:
I am an accomplished/professional fine artist working in oils and with 23K gold as enhanced application to my detailed hyperrealistic florals. I have an active studio where I can be found regularly. I am also the Art Advisor for the Star of the North Retreat Center in St. Albert, Alberta where I often facilitate creative projects within other programs they provide for Spiritual seekers.
