Sage-ing Circles
Gatherings for Conscious Aging
Online with Barbara Richards and Lois Huey-Heck
Wednesday, October 12, 2022
1:30 – 3:30 pm Pacific Time
Are you yearning to continue in meaningful and uplifting conversations about aging?
These gatherings are open to those who have attended The Possibility of Age: Discover Aging as a Spiritual Path or a Spiritual Eldering Retreat at Naramata Centre
Aging consciously and becoming a wise elder is a process that can be greatly enriched by the company of like-minded companions. But in our youth-based culture it is not easy to find a community of people willing to talk about life and death, aging and meaning, beginnings and endings, and all of the letting go that is part of aging.
To help create and nurture community, we are offering a series of Sage-ing Circles which will empower you to embrace both the challenges and opportunities of life’s third chapter. We will explore principles and practices that cultivate wisdom, peace, gratitude, and the unfolding of your full potential.
These live, online gatherings are an opportunity to:
· slow down, reflect, and listen to your inner wisdom
· explore ideas and practices for inspiration
· engage in dialogue with others about things that matter
· learn and be encouraged by the wisdom of the group
As we come into the harvest season, our theme for this circle will be “Gathering Gifts.” We will explore changes that have affected our lives, communities, and world – and the gifts that have come with those changes. Through reflection, dialogue, and group conversations we will open ourselves to the beauty and the gifts of the fall harvest.
Ages: 55+
This is the first of three Sage-ing Circles that are being planned. Save the dates and watch for more details!
