This 4-month support group is designed to help us find some grounding and community as we journey on our unique path of deconstruction and spiritual reclamation. The intention of this group is to create a space of acceptance and safety in which group members can begin reclaiming their spirituality and exploring their deepest values and inner voice without judgment or coercion. Reclamation is the necessary next process in healing. To use construction imagery: If deconstruction is taking down walls or pillars, reclamation is the redesign/ rebuild phase.
Our evenings will contain a short teaching/ discussion starter involving the topics found below. The largest portion of the evening will be conversational, with space for each participant to share their own experience. The hope is to draw strength and wisdom from the group, to find comfort in knowing others share similar experiences. To offer non-judgmental space to unpack those shifting perspectives, heal from wounds, and allow openness for the future.

Reclamation
Understanding the impacts of Religious Trauma
Purity Culture and reclaiming relationship to our bodies
Authority Navigation & how to hear my own voice
Relationship Anxiety & setting boundaries
Worldview Death and Complex Grief
Isolation and Loss of Community
This support group offers space for people at all points in their deconstruction and reclamation journey. Whether you are navigating feelings of bitterness, anger, or resentment towards your faith of origin, or you are in the process of reconstructing within a faith identity or community, you are welcome .

Ramona Pauls completed the Prairie Jubilee Program and has been studying the enneagram for some years, working with the lens of this ancient wisdom in her own spiritual practice, and in the direction space. Her spiritual roots are Christian, mostly found in the Mennonite church, and she has been on her own deconstruction journey, reinterpreting and reclaiming what holds true for her today. She has found much wisdom in other traditions and particularly in the mystic teachings.
