Spring Silent Retreat

Sunday, April 18 – Saturday, April 24, 2021

with Murray Groom and Nan Goodship

Naramata Centre, Naramata, BC

Is a quiet, contemplative retreat calling you?  This retreat is an invitation into time and space, community and spiritual direction to meet you on your journey. In the quiet beauty of springtime at Naramata, you will find rest, restoration and discernment in communion with yourself, the natural world and the Holy.

We will begin with orientation and entry into silence on Sunday night. We will experience five full days of silence. We come out of silence on Friday evening before our Saturday departure. The rhythm of our days includes:

·      early morning practice (optional) Monday to Friday

·      individual spiritual direction Monday to Friday

·      evening vespers Sunday to Friday

Arrival is Sunday, April 18 at 2:00 pm to begin at 3:00 pm. Departure is Saturday, April 24 by 10:00 am.

Retreat cost of $1,025.00 includes private accommodation in the East Court units which have kitchenettes for self-catering, individual daily spiritual direction, site use, and all community gatherings.

Due to Covid-19 protocols, we ask that you bring your own blankets (other linens will be provided) and groceries and /or prepared meals. We are unable to share community cooking.  You will receive a welcome letter, a week in advance, with more information to help you prepare for this retreat.
