Mindful Speaking

So that my words may be a gift
So that my words may be a balm
So that my words may open a question
So that my words may paint a picture
So that my words may point a possible way forward
So that my words are not my words at all, but words you need to hear.

So that my words be a clarion call to change
So that my words may stop evil-doing in its tracks
So that my call for help may broadcast out so that all who can respond, come running
So that my cries of grief for all the pain in the world awaken love and compassion – for everyone
So that my words may open a door to what is behind us, so that healing may happen
So that my words may lift us up

Sarah Hovey

is a craniosacral therapist and spiritual director living on the glorious southern tip of Vancouver Island. She is fascinated by all movements and expressions of Life. All life forms communicate with and affect each other – with touch and gaze and smell, with movements and with sound, as well as a host of other ways.

We move towards things that nourish us and move away from those things that don’t. Mindfulness and caring for each other are ways to be in this magical living flow in the most life-giving way.

Sarah completed the Pacific Jubilee SoulGuiding program in 2020. Read about her spiritual accompaniment practice here
